Disclaimer: I received an Original BUFF® Headwear to review as part of being a BibRave Pro. Learn more about becoming a BibRave Pro (ambassador), and check out BibRave.com to review find and write race reviews!
If you’ve read my previous blogs on the BUFF® Headwear then you know just how versatile and fun they are! I have tested out the UV Half BUFF®, the UV BUFF®, and now the original BUFF® in various colors. If you haven’t, then get to it and find out why many athletes and active people have found these headwear to be multi-functional and used in various ways.
So, I’ll explain what a BUFF® Tubular headwear is again for those that may not be familiar with them. BUFF® headwear is a knitted tube of technical fabric that can be worn more than 12 different ways, from a headband to a cap to a balaclava, for a personalized style and perfect fit. Of course, there are many other ways that they can be utilized and I’ll be sharing them with you here. You can check out the inventory and other great products at their website here.
The Original BUFF® comes in hundreds of colors and sizes can even be customized with your own design with a minimum order. I’m starting to see these more and more with runners, bikers, skiers, fishermen, and many other sports.
I almost always wear mine one of two ways when I’m out running or biking. Considering I am rarely seen without a baseball cap, I’ve found the the BUFF® is great as a headband so I can quit ruining my caps with a sweat ring. The other way i wear them is as a wristband for a quick wipe of the forehead. Though, I have been finding myself wearing it with my firegear as a Nomex® hood or even to cover my eyes while I nap on the hammock! One tip I’m going to leave you with is when you use your BUFF® in any hot weather, get it wet and leave it in the freezer overnight so when you need it, AHHHHHHHH.
Join us on Tuesday September 13th at 8pm CST on Twitter for the weekly #bibchat and your chance to win a BUFF® for yourself!
